Welcome to Gillian Muir's Website

Gillian started painting about four years ago beginning her journey by painting with Sue Williams and occasionally with Carol Ann Gupta. She took to acrylic particularly for its quick-drying and transportable qualities. It also gave a richness and depth of colour which appealed to her.

She later joined a painting group at the West Van Seniors Activity Center and paints in a small studio in her home on the North Shore.  Whenever possible she still meets with the group at the activity center. Gillian has sold paintings, gifted others and has had some on display in various locations and in several showings.

Gillian is currently a member of the North Shore Artist Guild, and the West Vancouver Arts Council. Her art work can be viewd on Instagram at gillianmuir7 and on her website at gillianmuir.ca
